Please take a look at some of the kind words that my clients have had to say about me.

“Ronan really listened to our requirements for the renovation/extension of our terraced house, and combined great design with some very practical suggestions for family living. His project management was excellent, and allowed us to finish within our tight time limit, and we found him very pleasant and professional to work with. We would have no hesitation in recommending him.”

— E. Patton & N. O’Neill, Killester, Dublin

We have found him thorough, diligent and professional in his project management and would readily recommend him to others.”

— Tim & Anne Mobsby, Sutton

“We approached Ronan with a vision for an extended living space which would compliment the style of our existing house. Ronan worked with us to achieve this goal. He was approachable, contactable and extremely professional. The end result is stunning- a beautiful, light-filled, welcoming extension which is admired by all who visit and which is ideal for the needs of our busy family.”

— Dr F Ni Áinle & R Emerson, Chapelizod, Dublin

“I would not hesitate to recommend Ronan for any architectural project. From inception to completion of my house refurbishment and extension project he provided inspiration and expertise. He listened carefully and took on board my wishes and requirements and took pains to seek out environmentally friendly materials and systems including timber-frame, underfloor heating, polished low--carbon concrete floors and solar panels. The result is a light-filled warm house that has retained much of its original 1920s character.”

— R Jeffrey, Howth, Dublin

“We chose Ronan as architect for our family home primarily because of his contemporary designs but also because of his passion to make buildings as energy efficient as possible. The brief for our home was for the building to be a contemporary rural home in keeping with the surroundings, which Ronan delivered. Ronan's attention to detail was very important at both planning & construction stages to minimise queries from planners & our builder, respectively. Ronan's awareness of the construction of sustainable buildings was also very evident in the construction drawings for our home, which was key to the house being as efficient as possible. The end result is a light filled, energy efficient building that is contemporary in design but at its heart is very much a family home. From design through to construction completion, Ronan has always been very professional to deal with and we would have no hesitation in recommending Ronan as an architect.”

— R Malone & L Ireland, Newbridge, Co Kildare

“Having had a difficult and stressful experience with my last home improvement project I started the upgrade of my kitchen and bathroom in the spring of 2012 with apprehension. But what a different experience I had with Ronan at the helm. Ronan’s design ideas were just right and with his help I chose a builder who respected that he was working in a home and not a building site. Ronan’s project management was professional and efficient and all of our site meetings were productive. It being an old house we encountered unexpected structural problems, all which were handled efficiently and with minimal disruption to the project. Ronan’s snagging was meticulous resulting in painless project completion. The project finished with no stress, on time and on budget and one very happy client.”

— M Hourihane, Blackrock, Dublin

“We are very pleased with the design and construction of our new living room. The new structure was completely different to our preconceived ideas. We were delighted with Ronan’s plan and we were pleased that we trusted his judgment and advice. We are particularly pleased with the increased amount of light that now enters the centre of our home.”

— Dr L & Dr M Condren, Carpenterstown, Dublin

“Ronan Rose Roberts helped us to plan, design and build an extension to our house. He was open to listening to our ideas, interpreting them into design, suggesting on how to merge old and new, and in communicating these plans with the building team. It was great to have his perspective at different stages of the building process. Ronan paid particular attention to the final detail and we are delighted with the end result. Thank you Ronan for all your help and ideas!”

— L & P Purser, Woodenbridge, Wicklow

“Ronan responded to us in our time of need, following the flooding of the lower floor of our home in late 2011. He worked both to re-design / re-engineer the floor and subfloor, as well to renovate and refinish the interior. The result displays a wonderful approach to light and materials that complement the Georgian house. We would recommend Ronan to anyone given our positive experience with him.”

— J Guy & S Anderson, Sandymount, Dublin

“Ronan was able to take the ideas that we had carried for many years and lay them out on paper just as we had imagined them. He dealt expertly with Wicklow planning department and ensured a stress free path through the tendering and building process. Ronan's knowledge of modern architecture and building methods appealed to us in creating a very successful revamp and remodel of our home.”

— F Finn and C O”Brien, Wicklow, Co Wicklow

“Ronan worked under my direction from 2010 to 2012 on the Design and Dignity Grants Scheme*, a national project involving a variety of end-of-life construction projects in acute and community hospitals throughout the country. Ronan was architectural advisor and project manager. Ronan showed commitment, energy, talent and persistence in his role at all times. He quickly grasped the broad thrust of the scheme and kept close control on the details and the budgets on each individual project within it. He was professional and personable in his dealings with all stakeholders. I would have no hesitation to recommend him.”

* The Design & Dignity Grants Scheme was linked to a key theme of the award-winning Hospice Friendly Hospitals (HFH) Programme 'The Physical Environment' which sought to enhance dignity, privavcy and confidentiality for people facing the end of their lives in hospitals. A particular focus of the first projects was the extremely sensitive issue of places to view and spend time with the deceased (mortuaries and related facilities). The actor Gabriel Byrne was an early advocate for this Grants scheme and is a patron of the HFH Programme.
