ST. BRIGIDS HOSPICE CO. KILDARE
Our largest project completed to date, we were delighted to have been selected to design and oversee the extensive renovation and extension of this hospice in Co. Kildare for the Friends of St Brigid’s Hospice and Homecare Services. Our brief was to create a 13 bedroom hospice with in-patient and new day-care facilities including a cafe, gym, hairdressing and therapy rooms and a new oratory chapel. The design is centred around 2 new gardens, the oratory garden to the front of the building and the courtyard garden at the building’s centre. All bedrooms open out to a private patio and the garden beyond. The palette of materials was restrained to match the existing building.
